Having previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Business Development with PNI, Kyle Hall has been at the forefront of the company’s growth, working directly with clients and staff to drive results. Mr. Hall has been instrumental in not only taking the company across Canada and into US markets, but also more recently into Asia-Pacific. Since Mr. Hall became CEO of PNI in 2008, the company has received several awards including top 15 finishes in the prestigious Profit100™ and Deloitte Fast50™ annual rankings for performance companies. Mr. Hall has 20 years of industry experience, is a former professional football player, and is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.
As a member of PNI’s senior management team, Cameron Lawrence is responsible for all matters related to reporting, analysis, and compliance of PNI’s financial results. Mr. Lawrence recently served as Principal Accounting Officer and Senior Director of Finance for OncoGenex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company based in Bothell, WA., and Vancouver, Canada. Throughout his four years with OncoGenex, Mr. Lawrence supervised their compliance, financial reporting, financial operations, and business process improvement functions in a rapidly growing company. Mr. Lawrence holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University and an MPAcc graduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a Chartered Accountant.
Roger Canann came to PNI with the acquisition of QS Quarterhouse Software, Inc., in April 2013. As founder and director of Quarterhouse, Mr. Canann was instrumental in the company’s growing success with regional print shops and franchise retailers. With more than 15 years of leadership experience in software engineering and technical design, Mr. Canann heads up PNI’s engineering and technical resources in Texas. His previous experience also includes leadership roles in software development for global enterprise programs with Shell Oil Company.
With more than 11 years of experience in online retail and ecommerce, Chris Egan is responsible for managing the company’s product portfolio across web, kiosk, and mobile. With a strong focus on analytics-driven decision making and UX simplicity, Mr. Egan works directly with our retail partners to forecast trends and growth opportunities in their respective markets and presents solutions that bring together an omni-channel approach critical to success in today’s digital marketplace. Mr. Egan was a member of the inaugural graduating class of Media, Information & Technoculture (BAH) at the University of Western Ontario.
Paul Thomas serves as VP of all of PNI’s technology. Having previously served as PNI’s Director of Technology and as an Enterprise Architect, Mr. Thomas is responsible for all aspects of the company’s platform innovation and extensibility, including working with innovators to bring new concepts to our retailers via our platform. With more than 15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, Mr. Thomas brings both business acumen and technical vision to his role as leader of the company’s technical direction.
As a member of PNI’s senior management team, Simon Cairns is responsible for leading the company into new markets, new partnerships and expanding the company’s reach in terms of services and offerings. His duties also include corporate development and investor relations, having previously served as the company’s Director of Corporate Development. Mr. Cairns brings more than 13 years of direct business and corporate development experience in consumer internet media and entertainment, including working with market leaders in OEM, retail, content, and online channels across the globe.
