IT Support Analyst Office Systems

Position

PNI is looking for an  IT Support Analyst Office Systems to help support the Manager of Office Systems in the day to day operations of the Office and IT Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of combined PC and Mac workstation environment including setup of hardware for new employees and cleanup/recycling of existing hardware

  • Management of Microsoft Windows domain accounts and services, including security group memberships, printer queues and domain-based services (e.g. DNS, DFS)

  • Deployment of test and development environments, including physical and virtual components

  • Managing internal environmental infrastructure including but not limited to: security, AV, power and HVAC

  • Maintaining adherence to corporate IT policies, including but not limited to review and implementation of security patches, account management, network security (e.g. firewalls), and audit logs

  • Reviewing and maintaining appropriate backups of corporate data

  • Supervise and mentor contractors, where required

  • Office support outside of strictly the IT role

  • Support of employee workstations and laptops, dealing with hardware/software issues, migration from one location to another

  • Support of shared meeting room space and related audio/visual configuration

Required Skills

  • 5 + years' experience in an IT environment. Technical degree or diploma is preferred

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, routing, IP, DNS etc.) - CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification is an asset

  • 4+ years' experience with enterprise office applications an asset (Microsoft Office/Exchange/System Center)

  • Experience with Mac hardware/software (iMac, Macbook, OS X etc.)

  • Experience with AV and presentation equipment is an asset

  • Able to perform other office related maintenance tasks as required

  • Pass a security back ground check

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English

  • Able to physically lift/move equipment up to 50lbs

  • CompTIA A+ certified or working towards certification

    Experience with NAS and SAN technologies (NetApp, Oracle, Dell, FC zoning, MPIO) an asset
