PNI Media is in search of a seasoned client success manager to tackle to tackle the role of Senior Account Manager. In this role, you’ll manage one of our key retailer partners out of our Vancouver, BC office.
In this position, you will maintain client relations, manage the client account, and drive the strategy to grow revenue year to year. They are the link between the retailer and the various PNI teams such as Development, Product Services, Marketing, Maintenance, IT and Security and Product teams. This is not a selling position; it is a relationship position, with the core focus on developing growth strategies.
The successful candidate will bring an in-depth understanding of E-Commerce retail industry. You’ll develop a deep understanding of the clients’ and PNI's businesses, and maintain strong relationships with all key client stakeholders with the goal of growing existing and developing new business within the account.

Become the trusted advisor for the client and the key liaison between PNI and the client.
Understand our clients’ key business issues and opportunities and translate to marketing and account initiatives for roadmap.
Respond quickly and efficiently to all client requests, ensuring that other project resources are involved as required.
Manage client expectations throughout the PNI project life cycle.
Understand the larger scope of the client’s business and identify additional revenue opportunities. Understand client needs and defines business requirements for specific projects.
Maintain account strategy and sales forecast for each client.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry, competitors, and PNI's business strategy. Identify and pursue new business opportunities that fit said strategy.
Develop client proposals that comply with all PNI's processes and governance.
Develop and maintain PNI's product roadmap to ensure alignment with current and potential new client requirements.
Participate in feasibility analysis when required.
Work with Business Analyst and Product Manager to ensure they have a complete understanding of project requirements.
Work with Project Manager and client to accept features, releases, and project closeouts.
Work with Marketing to develop and execute a suitable marketing plan and campaign for the clients.
Develop and maintain required documentation and reports, both internally and externally.
Assist with collection of overdue accounts receivable.
Prioritize maintenance defects and requests when required.
Skills / Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
7+ years' combined experience in Account Management in the E-Commerce retail space
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Experience aggregating campaign data and developing a data-supported narrative
Insightful, with strong influencing and negotiation skills, particularly at a senior level
Agile development understanding an asset
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Analytical, with well-developed decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Able to think strategically and execute on ideas effectively
Organized and accurate, with keen attention to detail
Intrinsically self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
Able to travel regularly to the USA
