Product Integrations Specialist - Vancouver, BC

Working with the team leads, the Product Integrations Specialist supports all-technical and product initiatives including guiding the creation and import of new products and design content into the PNI system.  They assess quality and conformation to standard of assets created externally to PNI.  In addition, they validate quality of digital outputs generated and physical outputs produced.

Key Accountabilities:

Creates graphic artwork and visual material layouts for PNI’s web, desktop, kiosk and mobility application and PNI product needs – templates, overlays, thumbnails, product shots and previews.

Assists in the creation of documentation surrounding PNI products and import procedures. This includes (but is not limited to) creation, specification and user guides.

Assists in the investigation of issues encountered during the import process and merchandising.

Validates all import assets and documentation according to import standards, and corrects assets as required.

Aids in troubleshooting problems in design layouts, products and output testing.

Troubleshoots issues with delivered materials and communicates back with creative vendors.

Aids in the assessment of quality and conformation to standard of output produced both digitally and physically by fulfillment vendors.

Experience:

  • College Diploma required; a design or technical focus is preferred.

  • 1+ years in a similar type of role.  Retail web / e-commerce experience a plus.

  • Skilled in concept development, layout, design, colour theory and web application usability.

  • Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with HTML and XM Lis a bonus.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent reasoning, analysis and problem-solving skills and the ability to document ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Able to understand inter-related work processes -- to adapt easily to different assignments.

  • Easily adaptable to different working styles, independently or within a team.

  • Able to work in a team environment with a positive and upbeat attitude

  • Able to multi-task and set / prioritize tasks successfully.

  • Very detail oriented.
